MESH has earned a spot on the Inc. 5000, ranking No. 2,152 nationally and No. 16 in Louisiana with a three year sales growth of 172%. Founded in 2003, this is the second year that MESH has been named to the list of the 5,000 fastest-growing and biggest economy-driving private companies in the United States.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized on the list of America’s fastest-growing private companies amongst such admirable companies. This is truly a testament to the hard work and dedication our team has put in over the last three years,” said Taylor Bennett, Principal of MESH.
The Inc. 5000 is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s most successful independent small businesses. Ranked according to percentage of revenue growth from 2012 to 2015, the Inc. 5000 companies’ aggregate revenue is $200 billion. The companies on the Inc. 5000 list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period. To qualify, the companies must be based in the United States, privately held, for profit and independent.
“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great—usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”
MESH, holding the 2,152nd spot on the Inc. 5000 list, joins the ranks of other first-time powerhouses in 2016, including Dollar Shave Club, Bai Drinks, Orange Theory Fitness, ipsy, Square, Yeti Coolers and Ruby Receptionists. Notable alumni of the Inc. 5000 include Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Clif Bar, Pandora, Patagonia and Oracle.
